WOW! Prithviraj To Play Lord Krishna In Hariharan's Syamanthakam

Prithviraj, the young talented actor is reportedly all set to play Lord Krishna in the upcoming movie Syamanthakam, directed by Hariharan. According to the report published by Manorama online, Prithviraj has already signed the project.

Reports suggest that Syamanthakam is based on a sub-story of epic Mahabharatha. The story revolves around Lord Krishna and Sathrajith's disputes over the precious stone named Syamanthakam. A popular Bollywood actor will play Sathrajith in the movie.

Syamanthakam will feature Lord Krishna in the shades of an eternal lover, a great philosopher, and a perfect ruler. It is expected to be the most challenging character in Prithviraj's career. Mollywood is eagerly waiting to watch Prithvi as Lord Krishna

Famous actors from various film industries will play the major characters of the story, including Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambhavathi, Jambhavan, Balaraman etc.Syamanthakam is produced by Gokulam Gopalan, under the banner Gokulam Movies.

Sources suggest that Syamanthakam will be the most expensive movie ever made in the industry of Malayalam cinema. The most brilliant technicians from the Indian and world movie platforms will be associated with the project.

Chiranjeevi Takes A Holy Dip At Godavari Pushkaralu

Actor-politician Chiranjeevi along with his brother-in-law Allu Aravind and nephew Allu Sirish on Wednesday took a holy dip in the Godavari river as part of the ongoing Maha Pushkaralu.

"It was a peaceful visit to the Pushkaralu. A small ritual was performed after Chiranjeevi and his family members took a dip," a source told. 

Lakhs of pilgrims have taken the holy dip so far at the Pushkaralu, a festival dedicated to worshipping of rivers.The Pushkaralu, which kicked off on July 14, will end on this Saturday. Chiranjeevi will soon start working on his 150th film, which will be helmed by director Puri Jagannadh. He has already hit the gym and working out rigorously to look presentable on screen.

OMG! Actor Vishal's Hunger Strike Against Kerala Government In Support Of Street Dogs

Actor Vishal who is also known for his off-screen heroism has raised his voice against many anti social elements in the past. Of late, he is also been vying for a positive change in the infrastructure of 'Nadigar Sangam', and now it's the struggle to save street dogs across India.

Ask any Keralite and he or she will tell you that stray dogs have become a menace in the state. With the government passing an order to cull rabid and violent dogs to protect its citizens, many animal rights activists have voiced against the government.

Now Vishal too will join the protest by participating in a hunger strike which will be organized by the group 'People For Cattle In India' at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai. The event will take place on 25th July.

According to a report by a leading daily the actor has said, "I am participating as a dog lover. I wanted to raise my voice against the killing of stray dogs. The main slogans of this event will be 'stop cruelty to animals' and 'stop killing dogs in Kerala'."
