Vijay's Kaththi Completes A Year: Despite Its Box Office Success, The Movie Is Still A Failure!

Happy Dussehra folks; and it's a special Dussehra for all Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans as they are celebrating the completion of a year, since the release of one of the biggest blockbusters of 2014, Kaththi.
Last year, this very day (Oct 22nd) Kaththi  swooped into many theatres worldwide, after which it did not take long to sweep many movie lovers off their feet, which showed through the box office collections of the movie.
But beyond mere box office collections, Kaththi  had a greater purpose to serve. The purpose, was to make everyone understand the never ending plight of our farmers through the trained eyes of AR Murugadoss.
In 2014 alone, the National Crime Records Bureau of India reported 5,650 farmer suicides. The real success of a movie like Kaththi  would materialize only when each and every Indian farmer is made to realize that he or she has to go on no matter what.
Even after showcasing some brutal facts, the reality remains that we all saw the film through rose-colored glasses, for the fact houses far more blood and pain and it's getting worse every minute.
Yes we clapped, whistled and enjoyed every bit of the movie. But isn't it unfair to just squeeze out the entertainment value from a film like Kaththi  when it had much more to offer? What's your contribution towards the real success of this particular Vijay starrer?

Top Reasons To Watch Vikram's 10 Enradhukulla And Vijay Sethupathi's Naanum Rowdydhaan!

As reported earlier, two prominent films will release tomorrow (October 21st). Vijay Sethupathi's Naanum Rowdydhaan and Vikram's 10 Enradhukulla will take on each other in the 5 long day weekend and beyond, starting tomorrow.
Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (U/A): Book Your Tickets Right Away!
Though a tough competition at the box office is expected between these two movies, the fact that they are releasing during the festive season should eventually help both these flicks gain a fair share of money by the end of their first weekend.
But before we delve into the box office collections, let's take a look at the possible reasons why someone would be interested to catch both Naanum Rowdydhaan and10 Enradhukulla on the big screen.
To begin with, both these films promise to display something new that has never been experienced before by Tamil audiences. For instance, 10 Enradhukulla might have some exhilarating stunt sequences involving supercars.
Though Tamil films have showcased such stunts in the past, involvement of Hollywood stuntman Lee Whitaker and valuable inputs from professional F1 racer Narain Karthikeyan might've elevated the quality of car stunts shown in 10 Enradhukulla.
When it comes to Naanum Rowdydhaan, Nayantara will be seen playing a deaf girl for the first time. That's the kind of role that promises to feed the actress' acting capabilities and might also end up as a treat to all her fans.

OMG! Vikram Calls Samantha A Dangerous Person

Southern star Vikram plays a car driver in his upcoming Tamil film 10 Endrathukulla, and he says all the action sequences in the film have been performed with logic, safety and sanity.

"All the dangerous stunts were done within the realm of logic and sanity. Cinema, in my opinion, is made on the concept of make-believe, so it's important to keep everything as safe as possible," Vikram told IANS.

Directed by S.S. Vijay Milton, the film is jointly produced by A.R. Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios.

Vikram worked on the film with a lot of positivity.

"Right from the moment I signed the project, there was something very positive about it. Throughout the course of the film's shoot and even now in the post-production, I can still feel the positive vibes. I hope audiences will feel it too," he said.

For Vikram, working on the project benefited him in many ways.

"It was an enriching experience. This film gave me an opportunity to make these small changes in me that helped the overall output," he revealed.

Also starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pasupathy in important roles, 10 Endrathukullareleases worldwide on October 21st.

Vikram describes his co-star Samantha as a "dangerously brilliant person on and off-screen".

"She's a very talented actress. She plays this very interesting role and although I can't reveal much about it, I'm sure audiences are going to love her in the film," he said.

Shot on a vast landscape, the story travels from Chennai to Uttarakhand.

"You could call it a road film but it also features a fresh romantic track. Samantha and I fall in love but we don't express our feelings. There are no duets. It's a journey of two extremely opposite strangers," he added
