‘Chinnathirai Nadigar Sangam’ which was established in the year 2003 with a motto to support and boost the welfare of TV actors and actresses. Election would be conducted for Chinnathirai Nadigar Sangam once in every three years.
The election for selecting the new administrators has held yesterday. Renowned Director and Dialogue Writer Mr. Liakath Alikhan has been appointed as Election Officer. The President, Gen-Secretary, Treasurer, 2 vice Presidents, 4 Joint Secretaries and 14 Executive Committee Members will be elected by polls.
Out of 1340 members, 705 have casted their votes in the elections. Counting has started at 6 PM and results have been announced.
Sivan Sreenivasan who has got 73 votes more than the runner-up Ravi Varma, has been elected as the President of the ‘Chinnathirai Nadigar Sangam’ .
