Vedalam has recently been censored and has retrained clean U certificate, which makes it elegible for 30% tax excemption. Hence the theater owners are showing much interest in releasing Vedalam in more number of screens.
Vedalam directed by Siva of Siruthai and Veeram fame, will feature Ajith, Shruti Haasan in lead, while Lakshmi Menon will be seen as Ajith's sister.
