The much awaited title and official first look poster of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie, directed by Atlee, has been released and is already going viral in almost all social networking sites. The film has been titled as Theri, which comes across as a huge surprise.
Though Vijay's hairstyle looks pretty much similar to what he had sported in Puli, he has a fully-grown moustache in the first look poster of Theri, which goes perfectly well with his shades and outfit. Not to mention the gun in his left hand, indicating the cop connection.
Interestingly, the second poster displays Vijay in triple roles. And this time around it showcases the Kaththi star in different hairstyles as well.
One among the three characters portrayed by Vijay sports a beard and looks nerdy enough to be presumed as an ex-IIT student in the film.
Going by the second poster, it also looks like Vijay is all set to play a negative character in the movie. Overall, the second poster of Theri looks more intriguing than its counterpart.
It is to be noted that Vijay has never portrayed triple roles on screen and Theri is most likely to be his first film in which he will be embracing three roles. No wonder titles like 'Moondru Mugam' was under consideration a few days ago.
The team of Theri is currently stationed in Goa, where important sequences involving Vijay and Amy Jackson are being shot. Interestingly, the team of Rajinikanth's Kabali will also camp in Goa to shoot the film's last schedule, come next week.
Theri has two leading ladies in Samantha and Amy Jackson and is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu. The film is expected to be released in April next year and thus might clash with other biggies such as Kabali and Suriya's 24.
