Though actor-producer Dhanush is no way connected to the entire saga, which is creating a ruckus in Chennai, his upcoming film Thanga Magan which is all set to release tomorrow (December 18th) might run into trouble, thanks to the 'beep song' row.
One among the latest speculations has it that several women welfare organizations have planned to protest in front of cinema halls screening Thanga Magan, in a bid to stop the movie from hitting the big screen since the film's music is composed byAnirudh.
Another such hearsay that's been doing the rounds is about Anirudh getting detained by police officials as soon as his flight lands in Chennai.
Though Anirudh, who is currently stationed in Canada, revealed that he did not compose the much talked about song, Simbu confessed that he along with the VIPmusician, composed the beep song.
Both Simbu and Anirudh have been summoned to appear before a Chennai police station on December 19th (Saturday) as a complaint was lodged against the duo.
