Earlier, we had informed you about the list of 100 most richest and influential celebrities from India, which had two prominent Tamil celebrities in Thala Ajith and Ilayathalapathy Vijay. But surprisingly, the famous list from Forbes for the year 2015, has left out both Ajith and Vijay.
Last year, Ajith was placed at the 19th and 98th positions in the rich and influential index respectively. But this year, the star actor has failed to even enter the list of 100.
Similarly Vijay, who was sitting pretty at the 23rd and 80th positions in being rich and famous respectively, is nowhere to be seen in this year's list.
The highest ranked Tamil actor in the year 2015 is Dhanush, who is at the 37th position. With an approximate earning of 42 Crore rupees, the actor-producer takes the 20th spot among the richest celebrities and is placed 64th, as far as the influential index is concerned.
Placed after him at the 46th position is Kamal Haasan. The actor takes the 14th position in the list of the richest, with an approximate earning of 51 Crores. He is placed 92nd in the list of the most famous.
Now, here comes the most surprising (shocking for some) news pertaining to this list. Comedian Santhanam enters the list of 100 this year and how! The actor-producer takes the 52nd position, ahead of stars like Suriya and Rajinikanth.

What more, with an approximate earning of a massive 45 Crore rupees, he is the 17th richest Indian celebrity. In the list of the most famous, he takes the 91st position, taking over Kamal Haasan.
At the 58th position is Kajal Aggarwal. She is placed 64th in the list of 100 most richest actors and actresses and in the 45th position in the index of the most famous.
