Interestingly, the latest report has it that Nayantara relaxes her remuneration when she ventures out of Tamil cinema. When it comes to Malayalam films, the chassy actress' salary is nowhere near to what she gets paid in Kollywood.
Speaking to a leading daily, film-maker AK Sajan, who is directing the Thani Oruvanactress in a film titled Puthiya Niyamam, has admitted that Malayalam film industry cannot afford Nayantara her current salary.
It is said that she tends to reduce her salary if the script of a film is rewarding enough. Will the talented actress relax her remuneration if she is presented with an interesting script here in Tamil cinema?
