It is said that the makers of Enthiran 2, which is touted as India's biggest project, were impressed with Neil's performance as a baddie in the Vijay starrer. On being approached by the team of Enthiran 2, Neil has given his consent to be a part of the film.

Directed by Shankar, who helmed the prequel, and bankrolled by Lyca productions,Enthiran 2 will have its official press meet, announcing the commencement of the project, once Tamil Nadu gets relieved from the flood, caused by continuous rains over the past few weeks.
