Since this is a weekend of festivals to many in states like Kerala and Karnataka, Thani Oruvan might enjoy a decent opening in its neighbouring states as well.
When it comes to Tamil Nadu, the film is expected to collect big in Chennai. Trade sources have indicated that the psychological thriller has a good chance of collecting close to 1.25 crores in the capital city from its first three days.
In the whole of Tamil Nadu, Thani Oruvan, by the end of its first weekend, might accumulate close to 9.5 crore rupees, which is a huge number for a Jayam Ravi starrer.
