According to top Telugu stars like Mahesh Babu, Suriya might be the most wanted Tamil actor in the Telugu film industry but when it comes to his personal favourite it is Ilayathalapathy Vijay, for the Selvandhan actor has picked the Puli star over Suriya and Ajith.

When Mahesh Babu was in Chennai recently to promote his upcoming filmSrimanthudu which is being released in Tamil simultaneously, he was bombarded with lots of interesting questions as expected.
Though the Telugu star, who can speak Tamil with precision, could've easily ducked under a few questions, he chose to answer them all in a non diplomatic manner.
When asked who his favourite Tamil hero was, the answer came in a noteworthy order, "Vijay sir, Ajith sir and Suriya sir", he said with his usual warm smile.
Impressed with his answer, he was posed with a much more difficult question aimed at making his life a touch laborious. This time he was asked, if given a choice to pick one Tamil hero in a dual hero film, whom would he choose to work with?
"Vijay, because I would feel comfortable working with him as I've met him a couple of times", pat came the reply from Mahesh Babu.
