Director Mani Ratnam sure had major plans for his upcoming multi-starrer which initially had some impressive casting that included Karthi, Dulquer Salmaan, Keerthi Suresh and Nithya Menon.
Unfortunately, almost all the leading stars selected to play their respective roles, backed out of the project as it was postponed after the maverick director decided to make it a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
Now, the latest report that's coming in suggests that the supposedly ambitious project has been shelved due to casting issues and that the Raavanan director will start working on a new film.
Few questions that remain unanswered includes whom Mani will work with now and will he revive this shelved project or has he given up on the film completely?
Recently, it was reported that the famed filmmaker will join hands with Dhanush after completing the film which has now been reportedly shelved.
Given Dhanush's busy schedule at the moment, the much anticipated collaboration might not happen any time soon. Official confirmation from sources close to Mani Ratnam is awaited, regarding his upcoming project.
