The official teaser of Thala Ajith's Vedalam was released at the stroke of midnight (October 8th) and the 45 seconds video has already smashed a certain record, earlier set by American singer Taylor Swift in the video sharing website YouTube.
By amassing a whopping 50,000 likes in just one hour from the time the video was made public, Vedalam teaser has now officially created a new record in the history of YouTube.
Vedalam crossed 50K likes without even breaking a sweat and in the process overtook the record set by Taylor Swift's musical video 'Bad Blood' which had gathered 34K likes in one hour, according to a report.
After 12 hours, the teaser has so far managed to gather an impressive 84,158 likes and close to 7 Lakh views. At this rate, this particular teaser might go on to set several other records in the cyber world.
The movie is all set to be released this Diwali and for all Ajith fans, Vedalam might brighten up the already dazzling festival of lights to unbelievable heights.
