Dum Laga Ke Haisha is a quirky and fun movie starring Ayushmann Khurrana and debutante Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. Though the movie is all about the characters these two play, the entire cast of the movie has given an awesome performance.
The movie's plot revolves around Prem played by Ayushmann Khurrana and Sandhya played by Bhumi. Prem is not happy with the idea of getting married to a fat and chubby girl while Sandhya who dreams of becoming a teacher tries her best to bond with him.
The scenes between them, be it them trying to bond or when they finally start to fall in love, all invoke a small laughter in you. Even a suicide scene in the movie has been turned into a funny event.
The dialogues are the highlight of the movie as each have a hidden meaning. Apart from the two lead actors, even those who play the role of their parents and even friends have all given a noticeable performance.
Sanjay Mishra steals the show with his natural acting and Bhumi Pednekar stands out with her debut performance in this film. It doesn't look like this was her first attempt and may soon climb up the ladder with her 3 film contract with Yash Raj Films.
Ayushmann on the other hand makes you laugh like crazy, these are the kind of roles and movies that suit him and hopefully he chooses to do something similar in future as well.
Viewers too have loved the film and have tweeted in favour of the movie, not one could pick faults with it and that's the proud factor of Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
