A host of Bollywood personalities including Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Anees Bazmee, Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan and others paid their last respects to music director Aadesh Shrivastava at Oshiwara crematorium here today.
The Raajneeti composer lost his battle to cancer on Saturday, a day after he turned 49.
Rajiv Kapoor, Pahlaj Nihlani, Shekar Kapoor, Kunal Ganjawala, Pandit Jasraj, Ismail Darbar, Sajid-Wajid, Alka Yagnik too attended the last rites.
"Aadesh passed away at 12.30 a.m.," his brother-in-law and music composer Lalit Pandit, from the Jatin-Lalit duo. He is survived by his wife Vijayata Pandit and two sons - Anivesh and Avitesh.
Amitabh, who was known to be a close friend of Shrivastava, said that he has lost his music with the death of the music composer.
The actor posted on his official blog: "Aadesh Shrivastava passed away...I lived my music with him...I live without him now... and perhaps my music too".
