But Vijaykumar's (veteran actor and Arun Vijay's father) speech was undoubtedly the highlight of the event that unfolded at Russian Cultural Centre in Chennai.
An emotional Vijaykumar aka Vijay admitted that Yennai Arindhaal was a turning point in his son's acting career and thus thanked filmmaker Gautham Menon and Thala Ajith for their opportunity and support.
He said, "I am liable to thank Gautham Menon and Ajith, specially Ajith as he made sure the role of Victor wasn't modified in the film. Victor's role had an equal screen space to that of the main lead and it is because of Ajith's large large-heartedness that particular character was celebrated by everyone".
